  • I am a veteran qualitative and quantitative market researcher with a very vast array of experience.  In doing a significant amount of work for various Federal Government Departments, I fell-in to conducing focus groups and surveys in the field of credential recognition about six years ago.  Since then, I have done about eight large-scale credential evaluation research projects for national regulators, provincial governments, credential assessment agencies and other stakeholders in the credential assessment community.  I have done over 100 focus groups and interviews with immigrants themselves, employers, academic institutions, regulators and various government stakeholders.  I have also done quantitative surveys with employers and immigrants.

    Throughout my career I have focused primarily on government and public sector clients, and I believe that experience lends very nicely to credential evaluation research, as most stakeholders operate in these sectors.  Over the last five years, however, I have taken courses in psychology and psychotherapy to better-understand human behaviour and outside of credential evaluation research, I have conducted branding and advertising strategy research for such private-sector clients as Red Bull, Bullfrog Energy, U of T Alumni, McDonald's, The LCBO and Wonder Bread.
